Many have expressed their excitement during face-to-face meetings, presentations and open discussions. Here’s what we are hearing:

  • Jobs, Jobs, Jobs
    Area residents want to keep the jobs that we already have and create more jobs. They see what’s happening around the state and want the best for Kalamazoo County.
  • Vibrant Community
    Area residents are concerned about the future.  They want to guarantee that our community remains a vibrant place where families live, work and play.
  • Keeping Kalamazoo families in Kalamazoo
    Families want to stay close to home for top entertainment and sports events rather than travel to other cities, like Grand Rapids.

Slated as a regional attraction, ACW will provide jobs, complement existing venues and enhance green space along the Arcadia Creek walkway.
